Retro fit Basement Nearing Completion Berkshire/Hampshire

A retro fit basement is nearing completion, Due to the size of the basement, a reinforcement wall using a waterproof concrete system is being cast inside of the underpinning works. This will provide a dry environment. We use both Caltite and Triton waterproof concrete systems. Often membrane systems are installed forming a secondry waterproofing barrier. The systems, Delta membranes, Newton Membranes, Oldroyd membrane and Triton Isola membranes are fitted in conjunction with sump and pumps to remove any ingress of water. We are approved installers for these products.

Large Retaining Walls Completed Using Caltite System

A large structural retaining wall has been completed in Berkshire using the Caltite waterproofing system. Caltite is a time-proven, practical system which produces effectively non-absorbent, impermeable and durable field concrete. Caltite has a successful track record of more than 38 years of helping designers and owners protect concrete structures, even under the most severe conditions. It was imperative the wall in question had a waterproof additive as there were springs in the area.

Basement Construction Waterproof Tanking in Berkshire

A exciting retro-fit basement that has been constructed in the Maidenhead and Windsor area of Berkshire has now been tanked providing a fully waterproof area. The building was excavated, the existing perimeter walls underpinned, and then a further interior waterproof wall cast inside. This was reinforced as was the floor slab. The walls then had a tanking slurry applied ensuring a dry environment.
